The Hartes and the Golds have been neighbours for eighteen years. Its not surprise when Chris and Emily's friendship blossoms into something more. Then one night Emily is dead, from a gunshot wound to the head. Chris tells police they had made a suicide pact, but he now finds himself on trial for murder.
